is confident that he’d be among The Last Of Us in a post-apocalyptic world.
AEW ran a poll on social media asking fans which group would be more successful in surviving the apocalypse, presenting the following choices:
- Claudio Castagnoli, Ruby Soho, Austin Gunn and Swerve Strickland
- Toni Storm, Dustin Rhodes, Buddy Matthews and Stokely Hathaway
AEW World Tag Team Champion Austin Gunn is confident in his own ability to survive the onslaught of clickers and infected, writing the following:
“I’ve kicked my own dads ass for survival in this business,” Austin wrote. “Imagine what I would do to a zombie???”
Some people focused on their strengths, while others pointed out some of the AEW roster’s weaknesses in such a situation. Dustin Rhodes said Swerve wouldn’t last a second, while plenty of people said Stokely Hathaway wouldn’t hesitate in selling his team out for his own survival.
It seems as if The Gunns aren’t exactly on the same page, however, as Colten said he’s picking team two:
sorry austin, taking team two…if Claudio turns into a zombie, everyone is fucked https://t.co/jCdArjpeWp

It was recently reported by Fightful that Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn recently re-signed with All Elite Wrestling, The report did not mention the length of the new deals but noted that the terms were for a multi-year contract. Austin Gunn originally joined the company in January 2020, with Colten joining him in June of that year.
