Meghan King Edmonds is defending her choice to let her 3-year-old daughter, Aspen, sleep in a crib instead of her bed.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum doesn’t think it is a big deal that the toddler still likes to sleep in a crib. Edmonds was not here for the haters, who chose to mommy shame her either. It is not easy raising a demanding toddler, and the mother of three is perfectly happy with her choice to let Aspen sleep in a crib from time to time.

“Yep she’s in her crib. She climbs out when she wants and occasionally sleeps in her toddler bed but tonight Baby Alive had already claimed the (not-so-coveted) bed, so AK opted for her too-small sleep sack, dock-a-tot, and wayyyy too small round crib. Because this girl is a firecrackin individual and I challenge any of you to challenge her,” the 35-year-old captioned her Instagram upload, after she was plagued with online trolls calling her out.
In the cute sleepy photo, Aspen smiled as she looked up at her mom. The little girl was all cuddled up in cute pajamas and a warm blanket.
The reality TV star had initially captioned the adorable moment “She asked me to tell a story about a baby and then Christmas lights.” The comments on her post prompted Edmonds to change the caption and defend her choice to let Aspen sleep in a crib.

The former baseball player filed for divorce in October, after his wife accused him of cheating with the nanny. There had been trouble in the marriage since he was caught having an inpatriate relationship with another woman last summer. Each of them addressed his infidelity on social media but declared they were in counseling to repair the marriage.
