According to a report from Page Six, A$AP Rocky isn’t as innocent as he proclaims himself to be, the Swedish authorities recently insinuated. The authorities stated this past weekend that the rapper and his two friends pushed a victim to the ground, and then repeatedly kicked the man in addition to striking him with a bottle.

In Stockholm District Court documents, the prosecutor claimed the three men in the case “deliberately, together in agreement,” attacked the man after pushing him to the ground. Identified as Mustafa Jafari, the assault left them with blood-stained clothes, bruises, and cuts.

Since the 3d of July, two other suspects have been held in a Swedish jail and Rocky was slapped with assault charges this past Thursday. The rapper claims he was acting in self-defense.

Previously, it was reported that Mr. Rocky and his crew were being followed by the alleged perpetrators, moreover, they allegedly were groping women and getting into fights with security guards. Magnus Stromberg, Jafari’s lawyer, claims he never provoked the fight.

Stromberg claims the fight first started when one of the rapper’s guards grabbed him on the neck and started pulling him away from the A$AP Mob member. Mustafa’s lawyer stated there wasn’t a reason for “such violence” at all.

The rapper’s imprisonment has even been discussed by the president, Donald Trump, who vouched for him in a discussion with the Swedish Prime Minister, Stefan Lofven. On the 19th of July, Trump took to his Twitter account to assure followers that he and the Swedish Prime Minister had a very respectful conversation.

Following his refusal to get involved in the legal proceedings, Trump took to his Twitter to say that he was disappointed in the prime minister’s unwillingness to act. “Sweden has let our African-American Community down in the United States,” the president stated.

Moreover, Trump alluded to the video footage which appeared to show A$AP being followed and harassed by the other men in the case.
